^^^ Entitlement and ego, the whole family. They look more and more like bullies out of control as this continues.
Take some damn responsibility for the problems you created.
Yeah, it's classic spoiled child syndrome. Their whole lives they were probably taught that the world was out to get them and nothing was their fault. I remember a guy I grew up with, his dad used to always tell him that if someone didn't like him, it was simply because they were jealous... and this kid was the biggest crybaby and jerk you would ever meet. Coincidentally, he is in fact in politics now.

Ford is to Canadian Politics as Don Cherry is to HNIC, a boisterous, obnoxious big mouth who loves getting media attention with his crazy behaviour. Who cares... Ford is providing SNL with great new material, and they'll be 20 new movies/cartoons/skits referencing Canadians as the usual beer drinking, hockey playing, stupid sounding goofballs; but this time led by Chris Farley-esque fat men who walk into cameras. Meh..
The way he lets his mouth run off with no second thoughts makes me believe he's on something, either legal or illegal.
So was Ralph Klein on something too?
He's just saying it the way it is and being brutally honest about it. No censors. To some of the voting public, this is refreshing from a politician. This probably helped him get the Mayor job, among other things.

Ralph was drunk when he made most of his gaffs, yeah he had a drinking problem. Ford isn't drunk or appearing to be high but he's not using normal common sense either. Most people have an inner censor, so they don't say aloud everything that's going through their mind, especially a politician.
as for Ford being brutally honest, he's a proven liar.

My memory of Klein is a little hazy, and lord knows I was not his biggest fan. But if memory serves, Klein admitted he had a problem after the "homeless guy" incident, and whether he did or not, I never heard anything like that about him again. It's possible I'm out to lunch on this, but I don't think Klein was ever out of control the way that Ford very obviously is. If anything Klein seems to have acknowledged his problem and conquered his demons. (Again, happy to be corrected--that is just my vague memory)
I think if Ford had come out and said "I'm an addict, I'm getting help," then he would very possibly have managed the political fallout a lot better. But comparing him to Klein isn't really fair.

I'm more or less comparing how both men speak their mind. They don't censor themselves. It's refreshing from a politician.
At least they don't get on Twitter and act like a child from the safety of a keyboard.
I don't find spewing garbage refreshing for someone in a position of power. For most people Ford is just a laughing stock.
As for Klein, he said somethings he shouldn't have like Ford, nowhere to the degree that Ford has but while in Alberta he was just being Ralph, the rest of the country thought he was a rube.

Dude when it comes to the Canucks, it could be a team of Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Augusto Pinochet, Josef Stalin and Kim Jong Il and if one of them scores against the Canucks you take it.
Sources confirmed to the Toronto Sun that Ford gave every member of his mayor’s office staff $5,000 raises on Friday before council stripped him of his powers.
It’s a surprising taxpayer-funded pay hike given Ford’s penny-pinching persona but it is part of a growing list of surprises that have rocked
