That period was better than the first two against San Jose, but not by much. It looks like the losing streak has taken a lot of the fire out of the team. In the first dozen games or so they played hard because I think they honestly believed that they could make something of this season. Now that reality has settled in it seems the compete level has dropped off significantly.

If he thought Hudler had the puck Hudler would had been hit a lot harder. Benn just braced himself for the collision and didn't want to fall over. A penalty there would have been a joke.

I mean the argument could just as easily be made for Hudler interfering on Benn too..

Flames are icing a bottom 5 payroll with a top 5 ticket price. No thank you.

Out there with SOB tonight and they've been two of the best players out there on the Flames so far. Couple of blocks and sadly some of the best chance and shots have been from these two as well

We will have to agree to disagree . IMO playing it back over and over. Jiri was hunched over stick on the ice . In that postion out of the corner of his eye with teamates poing the puck was in that area of ice could of jut tunrned saw how jiri was postioned assumed ( since ppl were pointing that way) and hit. The reason I think it was a hit not a brace is that you would not throw your arm out like that you'd use the out side leg to push of with your shoulder.

Poor play by Brodie, that spin around instead of trying to get position earlier.

A bit of a weak play by Brodie.
