A terrific third period comeback for the Kings who score three goals in the final period and lead 3-2 with a minute left in regulation time.
The Blues score three goals and now lead 4-1 over the Avalanche.

Steen with his 16th goal (and 15th) tonight. That's 16 in 17.

Yep, impressive to say the least. No Stamkos, no problem. The Bolts have won 2 in a row since he broke his leg. It was a 5-1 win over the sick Ducks, an outbreak of the flu has zapped a few of the players. Still, Tampa's supporting cast was great. Filppula and St. Louis each had 3 points.

The final score was 7-3 Blues. It was Giguere who was in net for 5 goals, but Varlamov gets tagged with the loss since he was in net for the 4th Blues goal. Giguere was pulled after the Blues made it 3-1 in the second but came back to start the 3rd period. For the Blues, Oshie had 4 assists and Derek Roy had 3 points. Gotta give credit to the Avs, they kept playing hard in the 3rd, scored 2 goals and were on the offense.

Suprisingly no posts about the Sharks-Canucks game here. Well, Loserongo and the Canucks found a way to blow it late in the 3rd period and OT as the Sharkies won 2-1. Bieksa gets the lone goal for the Canucks in the 2nd as Niemi stopped the rest of the Canucks shots, he made 34 saves. Quoting NHL.com, "It started with goalie Antti Niemi on the bench for an extra skater and Sharks captain Joe Thornton lying on the ice behind the Vancouver net. Thornton managed to sweep a loose puck to an open Boyle between the circles, but he whiffed on his shot only to have the puck squirt to Hertl at the side of the net. He lifted his 11th goal - tops among NHL rookies - over Luongo, who was stranded by the miss." Just like he did in the Olympics, Loserongo just can't keep it out late in the game. Then Henrik Sedin gets a penalty in OT and Boyle gets the winning goal. Stupid Canucks. It was fun listening to the post game commentary and callers.

In the other OOT games, Lucic gets the winner on an OT breakaway, 3-2 Bruins over the BJs. The Kings win in reg time 3-2 over the Islanders and the Bhawks win 5-4 in the SO over the Coyotes.
