400 Pound Monkey isn't a bad beer. It's an average, run of the mill, English IPA. I wouldn't call it great, but I think it's far from terrible.
Great Divide is an awesome stop, but the clientele can be annoying. Crooked Stave Brewing is, literally, in a storage unit and it's in a bad neighborhood. Very interesting beers, though. Not something I'd do again, but worth the stop once. Wynkoop is weird, but the people are nice. Wynkoop may or may not have their Rocky Mountain Oyster stout available.
If you do any traveling, I highly, HIGHLY, recommend stopping at Grimm Brothers Brewing in Loveland and O'Dell Brewing in Fort Collins. Both places were awesome.
