Keep in mind Bucky Gleason is the Bruce Dowbiggin of Buffalo. Would be very surprised if that happened.

Losing both Drury and Briere to free agency in the summer of 2007 really killed this team.
Buffalo was one of the top teams coming out of the 2004-05 lockout and probably could have competed for the Stanley Cup had they not lost Drury and Briere.
Keep in mind, they were one game away from meeting Edmonton in the 2006 finals.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nolan as a coach again. I wonder if the sabres will make a play for his son?

Dumb dumb dumb.
Regier is a top flight GM. He just pulled off a major steal in his latest deal.
Why let him go?

Flames should replace Feaster with Regier. With Darcy on Burke we will never lose a trade again

Ville Leino agrees. He wanted Regier to give him another contract too!

Their drafting has been pretty impressive too. Granted they've had a lot of picks to work with, but acquiring those extra picks was Regier's work too.
