I had it a year ago. Almost died from it. The treatment didn't help as I had a reaction to the drugs and lost 30 pounds as it did its job. Worst three weeks of my life. Took me almost six months to feel human again and build up the strength I had before my illness. Sure makes you look at life differently.

no kidding, I dont care who they are playing this is an embarrassment of monumental proportions. People are paying hundreds to watch this? I still can't believe they raised prices this year especially with the low budget team

it's amazing how bad wideman can look at times. if they counted how many times a player loses their stick during the play, he's gotta be top 3 in the league.

that stick of his is the Flames MVP this game

@bookofloob: If you're at the bar right now, there's a very good chance you've had more shots than the Flames tonight.

That Keg commercial drives me crazy. Cute asian girl busts the table of guys beside her checking out the big fake boobed blonde, finds it charming, comes to sit with them?
... what?

refs call for the tunnel cover knowing they have yet to allow a PP for the Flames when several could be given.

They'll get at least a dozen in the third. 3/4 of that will come in the final 10 minutes.

It can be very painful. I actually thought I was having a heart attack or possibly a pulmonary embolism before I was diagnosed. I drove myself to the hospital and almost collapsed heading into ER. They called a code and I was on a gurney pretty quickly. Take care of yourself. Get lots of rest and follow doctor's orders to the letter. Good luck!

They must not like the taste of whistle after it's been where the sun don't shine for 2 periods.

Obviously he knows, it's just that I think that his weakness is what is making him a bad player right now. He keeps doing all the little things right before being played into the boards, smashed by a shark defenseman and losing possession. It's frustrating more than anything, but you also can't really ask anything more of him. He's playing hard offensively and defensively and doing a bunch of things well, but he's just too weak to play a team as strong and fast as the sharks.
Maybe I'm wrong though, I'll have to watch closer.

Rofl I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this when I saw the commercial.

OMG! what drugs? The antibiotics? Jeeze I am so worried, I don't eat meat aside from chicken, I juice with greens three times a day, I take supplements. However, during this past month my son tore his ACL on the football field and had to get surgery a week later, and TWO of his teammates died (both just turned17), one on the football field of some freak stroke and one in a car accident. I think it's just stress. Sorry to hear you were so sick, hopefully I will start feeling human again.
Ok, back to hockey, sorry for the interruption.

Flames need to start throwing pucks on net and trying to score some ugly goals. They are trying to be too cute.

He's not terrible but he just doesn't get a lot done offensively. Would be a good 3rd line player on a contending team.

Constant high levels of stress suppress your immune system and your ability to repair damage to your tissues due to infection. If you need to take a break from things for a while and reduce your stress load, do so. You won't get significantly better until you do.
