It's making me wish Dougie Hamilton played for the Flames.

I've seen some pretty dramatic posts on the Oilers HF forum over the years, but good lord it is ever apocalyptic over there right now. Between losing almost every game they play, debating on firing yet another coach, and now the Smid trade, I feel like some fans over there need to be put on suicide watch
Kevin Lowe is a curse, there is just no other way to explain it. Look at all the horrible (-ly funny as a Flames fan) crap that has happened to that franchise over the last 7 years, and he is the only constant throughout. Players, coaches, training staff, GM's, ownership, everything else has changed around him but he somehow remains. It's almost frightening to behold what a force of destruction he is to a sports franchise

Man, iginla looks amazing out there! Speed, strength, and skill like the days of old. He's dangling around guys with head fakes and dropping the shoulder powering pucks to the net. That's one hell of a line with him on it.

I particularly like the official "Get your bag on" thread.

Cody Eakin jams home a goal crease melee...Horcoff and Daley with assists...'Hawks took consecutive penalties and were short handed for 4 of the 1st 6 minutes...Eakin's goal was just after the 2nd penalty ended...

Looked pretty even to me. I'd give the edge to Iggy though as he got more shots at Clarkson.

Clarkson wanted it and threw his gloves down and grabbed Iggy, I'd say Iggy landed a few more, but nothing really solid. Decision to Iggy. A bit better than a draw but not much
