It hurts my eyes to see Butler leading in ice time. I mean, he's been good, but my gag reflex in seeing it is still there

One line, one magical pixie man, suddenly carrying the team.

Cammaleri will net a nice return at the deadline.

Get over the Jackman stuff. 10 forwards have more ice time than him after 2 periods and it would be 11 if McGrattan didn't sit in the penalty box for 5 minutes. He is a bottom roster filler and that is what he plays. And O'Brien has played the least minutes of the defense. It's not because of these two guys that the Flames are behind.

I don't buy Colorado as a top team. They'll fall in the standings.

They showed you as the Flames were walking off at the end of the second.
Shoutout from the Heat on Twitter too...

Yea. I think having Iginla on your team gives your playmakers "Iginlatism" Tanguay, Cammy, Jokinen, etc.. they felt pressure to give him the biscuit.
It's a team of equals out there now and everyone has a chance to be the hero.

Wow Cammy, with perhaps his worst period of the season in the first, bounces back with his best. Nice!
And Backlund's benching just keeps getting more puzzling.

They are -1. so. they are a plausible reason. considering we are down by one.
I dream of a day when the Calgary Flames try to use their fourth line for something other than #GRITCHART, #TRUCULENCE, #GRINDEMUP, #DANCINGBEARS, etc.

As long as he doesn't pull some homo-awkward Scott Oake questions, he'll be ok.

It makes sense... Backlund needs to play like this to get these minutes, we don't need two Stajans.
