I think Eberle is by far the most overrated of the Oilers "big guys" but Eberle for Coburn would be a horrific deal for the Oilers.

I like the Oiler fans hoping for Giroux from Philly because a top 6 forward is exactly what they have been missing and the Flyers dealing their captain and getting back less talented forwards (all Edmonton would have to offer) makes a ton of sense for them.

Not sure how you could possibly come to that conclusion. Next to the hot garbage that is Hemsky, Eberle is a superstar.

Burke: Smell that? You smell that? Feaster: What?
Burke: Desperation, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
Burke: I love the smell of desperation in Edmonton. Smells like
 [sniffing, pondering]
Burke: victory. Someday this rebuilds gonna end...

When I read that I immediately pictured Burke holding his finger in front of Feaster.

Well I wouldn't say that Hemsky is one of the big guys (RNH, Yak, Hall) or that people really rate him all that high.

And not sure if you have watched Eberle this year but he doesn't look like a superstar even when compared to Tim Jackman with his play so far.

Well you can't just go comparing everyone to the Tim Jackman, I mean come on.

They should have moved a forward to make room for Bryzgalov. They have weakened an already weak blue line to sign a mentally soft goaltender. Kind of a puzzling one step forward one step back move. Is MacTavish having his Darryl Sutter moment this weekend?

This re-unites Bryzgalov with Labarbera who backed him up for two years in Phoenix.

Well I assume Dubnyk becomes the backup, and Labarbera goes to the AHL or wherever.
