Both he and she got escorted outta the building...sadly, there are drunken idiots at EVERY sporting or entertainment event...I just don't get it, pay something like $7.50 for a lukewarm beer that, in the long run, dulls the sensory experience of the event?

Nobody seems to have been hurt and Pardy will get razzed about it from his teammates and peers for years to come. And I'm sure he'll be a good sport about it.
What is even more ridiculous about the beer-dumping is that it isn't even on Pardy. If you watch, the sheet of glass gets tipped back towards the ice, so when she dumps the beer, it runs down on the wrong side of the glass from Pardy. She probably soaked the lady in front of her.

Pardy comments on the incident........

Quote:
"I definitely smelled a little booze for about six minutes," Pardy said after the game. "I guess somebody reached around (and took the helmet). I don't know what happened to my stick, either — that got lost in the crowd too. A little insult to injury there. It was tough enough to get put through the glass but then to get a beer thrown on my head, too, was not a good thing."
Quote:
Pardy, who said "there was a lot of yelling going on, a lot of screaming" eventually retrieved his helmet and was good-natured about the encounter.

"They're into it," he said. "I mean, that's a good thing, I guess."

There's a longer video on youtube where it shows the helmet being given back. A security guy in a suit comes over and demands it back.

I'm wondering if Pardy isn't yelling insults/obsenities at the guy when just prior to his wife dumping the beer. The way she dumps it looks like a "you be quiet" kind of way.

I can imagine the atmosphere at buddy's car dealership today. All the employees snickering as he locks himself in his office with a level ten hangover.

The woman is an idiot and should be banned from hockey games. The guy is hilarious and reminded me of animal house. He didn't hurt anyone he just put on the helmet and looked like a drunken mess and it was brilliant.

Still one of the best bloopers this year. That dude gored out of his mind was so proud to snag the helmet.
What I find as funny now is who this guy is and how much a major business man he is, It's classic.
