Emile Poirier is off to a STELLAR start this season. A 14-game point streak in which he has scored 12 goals and 23 points; has been held pointless in only two games this season; 10 of his 18 games have been multi-point games.
I'm really excited about this kid. He is a good bet to win a roster spot in the WJHC this year, and his team is also likely to have a long playoff run. I have every expectation that he will turn pro next year, and won't be the least bit surprised if he makes the team out of camp.

Brossoit gets his first start, and gets a SO in a 5-0 Aces win last night. Didn't appear to be too busy stopping 16 shots, but good for him either way.

126 minutes played in the ECHL (the starter had an equipment issue late in the game on Friday, so Brossoit played the final 6) with a 0.00 GAA and 1.000 SV%.

I thought a natural hat trick was 3 goals in 1 period. Klimchuck's 3rd was in the 2nd period, his other 2 in the first.
