Quite the game in SC tonight.

Broncos down 5-1 heading into the 3rd and won 7-6 in regulation.

Gordon picked up a goal and an assist.

So Kulak leads the Giants with 19 point in 19 games, and has been involved in 33% of his teams total offensive output. Pretty good for a d-man.

I'd love to see him traded to a contender so he can finish out his junior career with a deep playoff run. I'm sure he will be.....

He's also listed by the Giants at 6'1 185lbs.....which is a nice bit of growth from the 5'11 165lbs he was drafted at.

Emile Poirier is off to a STELLAR start this season. A 14-game point streak in which he has scored 12 goals and 23 points; has been held pointless in only two games this season; 10 of his 18 games have been multi-point games.

I'm really excited about this kid. He is a good bet to win a roster spot in the WJHC this year, and his team is also likely to have a long playoff run. I have every expectation that he will turn pro next year, and won't be the least bit surprised if he makes the team out of camp.

Brossoit gets his first start, and gets a SO in a 5-0 Aces win last night. Didn't appear to be too busy stopping 16 shots, but good for him either way.

Another shutout for Brossoit in Alaska.

126 minutes played in the ECHL (the starter had an equipment issue late in the game on Friday, so Brossoit played the final 6) with a 0.00 GAA and 1.000 SV%.

A 1-1 record on the weekend didn't do Providence any favours in the weekly rankings.

PC dropped from 3rd to 5th in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll (http://www.usahockey.com/page/show/8...college-hockey), and from 3rd to 6th in the USCHO.com poll (http://www.uscho.com/rankings/).

Boston College is 8th in both polls (holding steady on WSCHO.com and dropping one spot on USA Today), after a 2-0 weekend.

A 1-0-1 weekend for Yale was good enough to move them from 11th to 9th in both polls.

Some word that Keegan Kanzig got knocked out during a fight with Brandon Baddock.

Reportedly looked woozy leaving the ice.

I thought a natural hat trick was 3 goals in 1 period. Klimchuck's 3rd was in the 2nd period, his other 2 in the first.

A natural hat-trick is when the same player scores three goal in a row, uninterrupted by any other player scoring for either team.

I always thought it was 3 goals (at any time, in any way) except for an empty-net.

Edit: You two were actually both right, and all these years I was wrong.
