I caught some of that game and he does have a strong arm and great pocket presence. His accuracy on other hand could use work as he had a lot of over throws. Then again I don't know if his lack of accuracy can be used as an excuse because he is 29 and has been playing pro ball since 2007.

Solid start so far for the REDBLACKS. Certainly a very affordable ticket.

And about the only thing that remains clear is that the Lions will continue to operate as if DeMarco will run the offence for the rest of the season, including how far they might last in the playoffs.

Lulay did virtually everything asked of a quarterback at practice except throw, except for a brief session in which he tossed 10-yard spirals in front of general manager Wally Buono.

But there will be no practice reps this week, Lulay said. And because he must still cut workout sessions short because of shoulder soreness, there’s no guarantee of, well, anything.

“It is improving,” said Lulay. “But it’s one of those things where I’m at with the symptoms. I push it, shut it down, and hope to progress.”

Will he throw next week? Maybe, maybe not.

The scenario created by the Lions in the wake of the shoulder subluxation suffered by Lulay has been nothing short of textbook spin material.

Rather than ruling him out for a prolonged period at the time of the Sept. 15 injury, the club began providing updates every two weeks instead, trying to manage what would otherwise have been a dreary prognosis.

Lulay continues to add to the intrigue by suggesting he is hopeful he can return by the end of the season, though offers no assurances, and still continues to insist the scenario is a better alternative than simply to opt for surgery and get set for next season.

It's been over 5 weeks since his shoulder was injured on a late play against Montreal in which they had the game locked up.

He's barely throwing.

He's getting no reps.

It's not all that long before the West Semi Final.

Draw your conclusion, but methinks Lulay is hurt way worse than reported and the BC media are starting to catch that as well.

Hate to see Buck back in BC...with their weapons he could make life miserable for whoever faces them.

Dunno about that, do they really have many weapons anymore? Couple of promising future receivers and no running game(until yesterday). They're kinda known for their defense now. Also the other team just has to hope for a gust of wind to shatter Pierce's skeleton like sugar glass.

Perfect. Hopefully BC goes into Sask for the west semi-final and beats them.

Then they come to Calgary for the West final and lose!

As a Stamps fan I hope he stays and signs a long term extension.

I am not saying you are right or wrong but I think it is a good call to fire Kavis Reed. I have no idea why he wasn't even fired after last season. The guy is an awful coach. He got lucky in his first season with Eskimos started very well. He made so many boneheaded move like switching kickers in the 2nd quarter, or putting 3 RBs on the lineup but not use them, QB carousels and keep insisting that Kerry Joseph can still play in the CFL.

As for Hervey, he gets a mulligan after this season. Maybe he will be another KLowe that will never get fired because of his past accomplishment with the organization. If Eskimos does not improve next season, I wouldn't be surprised if the higher management pull the trigger but like I said Edmontonians seems to like to hang on to their former players and keep them on a management capacity for a very long time even though they haven't done crap.

I am not complaining though..

No Getzlaf for the Riders on Sunday:
