My daily view spans across much of the Arriva/Stampede area -I'm hoping people in the know can help identify a few projects on the go:
- Big block long project project with the crane
- Two buildings on the left current in the yellow GP DensArmor stage:

Right side of your photo is the Guardian condo tower(s). Left side are Upside Engineering expansion in the foreground and Biscuit Block in the background. See http://calgary.worldconstructionmap.com/ for a map of all the projects going on downtown with links to renderings and details.

Will they be revealing the design as well, or just the name?

Don't know. Since the work thus far was very early and conceptual, perhaps they want to let the architect do the real design work before revealing anything. But, who knows.

Definitely better than the other three choices, that's for sure.
Dialog is also doing the Mount Royal library.... the one that just got a HUGE injection of money yesterday.

What's up with the front pool area of 5th Avenue Place? They seem to be digging it up. Anybody know if they are just refurbishing it or is Imperial up to something? They tore up Malcolm's patio as well.
This is now gone:
