I'd prefer the crowd chanting:

RE-TO BERRA! clap-clap, clap-clap-clap-clap
RE-TO BERRA! clap-clap, clap-clap-clap-clap

How old is Russell again? Maybe he is part of our rebuild?

So instead of watching the game, you rely on the commentary of people undoubtedly as ignorant as you?

That explains much.

Awesome to get a win in Chicago, huge confidence booster for the club. The Hawks asserted themselves but the Flames kept them outside and did a great job blocking shots. And of course Berra with an excellent performance in his first NHL game.

Can't imagine how ugly it would be for Stajan if we lost the game. He owes Berra and Russel big time. Hope he picks up the tab for the boys tonight.

Great gifs guys, had me laughing a lot in this thread.

Hope he can keep that up.
If him and Colborne keep it up, we'll have two very good pieces for a 4th and 5th round pick. That's how you rebuild properly. Find undervalued guys from deeper teams and hope that with proper ice time they prosper.

I'm a Glencross hater but I'll also eat a bit of crow. The goal he scored tonight was a thing of beauty. However, one great goal in a season full of otherwise pretty pitiful efforts hasn't really made me change my opinion of the guy, sorry.

Berra was outstanding tonight, as was Russell and Brodie. I also agree with some of the previous comments regarding Butler. He's looked pretty decent lately.

I loved how this team played tonight! Seemed like everyone tried their best (yes, even GlenX) for Reto Berra...they fought really well in the first, looked a bit slow and lost at the start of the second, but hung in. Loved the comeback for the win after giving up what had to be a heartbreaker of a goal for them on the 5-on-3.

Lots of guys supporting the puck all over the ice, covering up miscues of others (or themselves) and lots of good hard hustle to backcheck.

I thought, for the most part, they played a pretty good 3-zone game. Some lapses to be sure, but they kept the Hawks to the outside, didn't give up a lot of odd-man rushes and got their licks in where they could.

Nice game and a nice win!

No, I don't think so. Him and Stajan click together. I think Stajan has been playing well too.

Agreed, and Galiardi has been solid as well, IMO.

Russell is 26, Colborne is 23 and Galiardi is 25.

All young enough to be solid pieces here for years to come if they keep up their play.

And although a bit older than those guys...David Jones is another one. Love his game when he is on...and he is on more than he isnt thus far.

Fair ball.

Im a Butler hater and will say he has been lessening his negative trade value the last two games.
