Butler with 26:04 of ice....1 assist, even, 4 hits, 2 blocks, 2 take aways.
He's played pretty darn good since Gio went down, thought it deserved a mention.

I like to think this win was because Strombad called us Flamers earlier in the GDT today and said he cheers for two teams in the same conference.

Wow what a game and what an ending!! Berra with a phenomenal performance, vintage Kipper-esque performance. He made it look easy tonight. And I haven't seen rebound control like that since last season! Some amazing saves on the 5-3 pp.
Wideman had a huge game. Stajan too. In fact, all the vets showed up with a SOLID performance against the cup champs.
The theme continues with the team blocking shots like there's no tomorrow. Some huge blocks by the team all night.

Berra with a win in his NHL debut. As they say, "good, now do it again"
Except for a few minutes at the beginning of the second and a lazy penalty by Stajan to put the team 5 on 3, near perfect road game. Good job boys!

Great game by the flames... Text book road game against a powerhouse like Chicago. I have been more and more impressed with defensemen like Russell, wideman, and Brodie. Especially Brodie who is becoming a defensemen that can dictate the pace if the game. Love to see that effort keeping up from the whole team. Great game by glencross too... What a shot!

I want to know if Yoo-hoo and TheChief will beatch about Glencross' goal celebration tonight, like they did when he scored in the final minute vs Detroit.
Or will the Glencross haters disappear?
