Well it wasn't that bad considering I never tried it again after. That's the scary thing with those hard drugs is they say you can try them once and get hooked, but This was like 4 years ago, so I think I'm out of the woods. 
And I doubt there's any health ramifications of one crack hit in your life. If anything I should be grateful that I got to experience the awesome, almost out of body experience, but only once.

During the last commercial break the radio station plays reaction to the first hour of the show. People calling him a buffoon and calling for his resignation. One lady says he is going to drop dead soon based on how bad he looks. This is his own station doing this as he sits and listens during the break.
Now he and his brother are about to take live calls finally. Oh lordy this should be entertaining.

2nd caller: Wants Ford to have a town hall meeting after the video is released to address the contents of it. Ford says he can't comment as he hasn't yet seen it.
3rd caller: Says Ford need to take a leave of absence. Says she has to explain Ford's behaviour to her small children. Ford says he is sorry for his behaviour but he isn't going anywhere.
4th caller: You da man Rob. Nobody is perfect.
5th caller: Doug, stop being Rob's enabler. Encourage him to go for help.

If he was really sorry, or really wanted to do better in the future and get help, he'd just be honest about what's on the tape already. He has to know what's on it. If not exactly, than the basic stuff.
But he doesn't want to clean up. He hasn't hit rock bottom yet. His comments about alcohol are proof enough for that. Right now he's just hoping he can deny deny deny the crack when the video comes out. He'll say it's weed or something in the pipe, and just deny deny deny. It will probably be impossible to tell with 100% certainty by video, but the ones who aren't so far up his ass will know it's crack.
What would worry me more as a voter than the addiction though, is his whole standing and possible involvement with these criminals. If he knew about the attempted murder! That should be enough for people to not want to vote for him.
People do screw up, and if he was coming clean and getting help, and truly had nothing else to do with the criminals and wasn't trying to cover it up, than even I would say maybe he deserves a second chance. But he's not doing that either.
This stinks about as much as anything can stink. There are multiple reasons why he should not be a public servant right now. Get rid of the buffoon already.

It's funny that he is demanding that the police release the video when doing so could make it inadmissible if it ends up being used in a criminal investigation.

It's a smart thing to do, since the video will eventually come out once a judge allows it, but that could be a long time. There is no way the police chief was going to fall for it though.
