Big time. 2-14 a year ago. I look at those scores against the Bills that Sylvan posted and I just cringe. Watched everyone of those games. A sane man would have given up and found something else to do on Sundays. Having a good time this year though.

Last year drove me nuts because the team had legitimate talent on D, but were getting smoked. Every game the Chiefs would give up a TD on the opening drive, than turn the ball over on offence and be down 21-0 before the first quarter was done it seemed.

This year they rarely fall behind in a game and if they do they seem to be able to answer right back with a TD. Even when the game gets close the defence seems to be able to slam the door shut. I know the Eagle fans laughed at Andy Reid getting another job, but as a coach only, I think he's been a good fit...hopefully he'll lay off the player personell at the draft going forward.

Going by memory, but the Chiefs have hardly given up anything in terms of 4th quarter scoring this year, which is really impressive given that teams are throwing in the 4th quarter as time is running out.

The Vikings are losing talent on defense in the offseason, so it will be a changing of the guard of sorts. Losing Jared Allen and Kevin Williams will make that defense relatively unknown to most NFL fans. Although, that might mean people will start to hear the names Robison, Greenway and Smith even more.

I can't believe I'm already in off-season thinking mode and it's not even November yet!!

Dolphins starting offensive tackle Jonathan Martin has left the team after a prank was pulled on him in the lunchroom by some of his teammates. He was upset and left the team.

You hear about some of the "pranks" and "hazing" incidents that go on in pro sports, especially football, and I am surprised this hasn't happened before/more often.

Things are started to come unraveled in Miami. Players starting to question Sherman's play-calling, now Martin. Philbin might be losing the room.

If not for the Dolphins fluky 3-0 start all the Florida NFL teams would be total embarassements. As it is two are and one is on its way.

That's one time a 50 yard PI penalty was a good play by the defender.

Wow, never thought I would see an OT ended with a safety

Just as I start warmingup to the Bengals...they do this. Close, but it's a safety.

Haha wow. What was the rule there about it possibly not being a safety?

If his forward progress would have had the ball outside the goal line than it's 4th down from the one inch line. He tucked the ball just before the hit, and that put the ball in the end zone for his forward progress.

I guess the NFL felt jealous about the weird endings in baseball and wanted one of their own.

What a roller coaster game and I knew at 17-3 that the Bengals were going to make a game of it. I am still shocked at the poor offensive play calling by Mike Sherman, apparently he didn't learn anything from last week's NE game. 4-4 keeps the Fins in the hunt.
