Well this one's over, folks. Flames played well enough to win, but shoddy goaltending and a couple of stupid plays cost us the game. Time to switch it over to baseball.

Except the initial player has speed, as do the two wingers coming up the ice with him. When they do the drop pass, it forces all three of them to stop and then they're flat footed when the tailing man tries to gain the zone.

Don't agree with that goalie pull

Leafs scored a SH goal is your answer. You want to minimise an empty net goal as much as possible. Pulling Ramo when he did......

I think the main reason I don't like the Leafs is because their fans make more noise than Flames fans when they are at the Dome.

That was better than a home game for the Leafs because in Toronto those people aren't even in their seats.

Was a good time to pull. 30 seconds left in the powerplay, we just gained possession in their zone, have to think that we could hold the zone for 30 seconds with a two man advantage. Was a poor play by Hudler, lost possession way too easily.

Would hope that if the same situation came up again, that the goalie would be pulled again.

If they do it right, the initial players back the pk up and then come in as trailers to the play after. Usually works very well

Or could've been 5 on 4 for 3 mins instead of 2 and not risk of giving up a cheap EN while on the PP to seal the game.
If they needed two goals, for sure.

So what?
You have to hit the net from 200 feet if that's what you're talking about? If so, you dont really see any difference if we waited for the PP to end.

Should we have taken a penalty intentionally so we would have more 5-on-4 time?
