There's been suspensions this year for weaker hits than that, that was a rough one.
Talk about retribution though, busts Ashton's face open then bury a goal.

The effort from the Flames tonight has been awesome. These guys are definitely a hard working bunch, and that goal was well deserved. Leafs have absolutely no business being in this game.
