Just because of this thread, I want to see the flames making a new arena and stadium that replicates a barn/stampede-ish just to see people lose their poop.

What do we think of an arena shaped in the body of a horse, with a head on it that spits fire everytime the Flames win? You could put a nice restaurant or something to make sure all that horse head space doesn't go to waste.

After the Flames win, instead of playing Ring of Fire, it will be La Cucaracha

Apropos, when the Victoria Arena was finally replaced in 1950, Stampede officials called the facility the "Stampede Corral" and many people lost their poop over it. To the point that some newspapermen refused to even refer to the arena by its name. The citizenry got over it.

We're the Calgary Flames, not just the Flames. I don't get what's wrong with paying tribute to half the teams name. The shoulder yokes seem like such a minor thing to complain about. They really aren't that noticeable or that bad. I can't help but feel a lot of you are hating it just to hate it, or because that's what everyone does. I think it's a jersey that any Calgarian should be proud of. I love this city and I have absolutely no problem showing it off.

Yeah, the perennial haters like AC, Dion and Table5 are out in full force. Of course, it's hard to blame them when the ringleader of the haters, that CDC paste-eating troll Bingo, has registered a vote in the "Do not like" column.

That's what Vanflamesfan used to post in all the threads that went against things he liked. Micheal Bay movies, media threads etc.

Saw the jersey for the first time last night at the North Hill Fan Attic.
It looks way better than the NHL14 leak but I still didn't get the it-will-grow-on-me-feeling that I had when I saw the HC for the first time.
The shoulder patch is neat, but the material of that patch and the whole jersey in general felt really filmsy.
I think the price of replica jerseys have relatively stayed around $110-$140 but the material has gotten dramatically worse.
They're asking for too much money but I may be suckered into getting one later on this season or if Monahan wins the Calder.

This. My only complaint about the jersey (which isn’t even really about this specific third jersey) is the Reebok Edge garbage. It’s terrible!
The cut slits on the bottom sides, the rounded cape extension on the back, the shoulder patches and just generally the material… it all sucks. For comparison I have a Flames retro CCM and a Flames retro Reebok and the older CCM one is so much better quality. Really wish the NHL never switched to this Reebok crap.

The best replica jerseys of all time were the ProPlayer jerseys. They were so freaking heavy duty. Awesome embroidered patches, elbow's sewn in..
