Awesome, thanks! And yup, when and if I get a key of my own, I'll pass it along.

Sounds like another wave is going out today, in which I will undoubtedly not get a key.

Not sure how gold gains will work in live, but my goodness, they are slow - basically they are begging you to buy card packs.

I guess it depends on your expectations for a F2P game. 3 days worth of dailies + a handful of wins per day should get you an arena ticket. Or if you don't like arena you should be able to get a pack every 2 days without too much effort.

Not too shabby IMO.

Not yet, but they've confirmed it won't be part of the current beta.

I've had to content myself with playing through the AI to unlock all the cards, my Internet connection on vacation is pretty decent when it works, but it disconnects me constantly, sometimes a couple of matches in a row, so I'm not going to risk going into arena or even constructed play.

Runs awesome on my 13" MBP tho.

Arena for me so far:

Shaman 1-3 (WLLL)
Warrior 3-3 (WWLWLL)
Mage 5-1 and still playing (WWLWWW)

The question is, can I go far enough with this deck to make up for my losses in the first two attempts to break even overall in 3 attempts vs. buying packs? Wish me luck!

Edit: Curses! 5-3
Edit: Priest 1-3 (LWLL). Never extrapolate.
Edit: Palladin 3-3 (WLWWLL)
Edit: Priest 4-3 (WWWLWLL) ... prizes were all dust.
Edit: Palladin 2-3 (WLWLL)
Edit: Palladin 2-3 (WLWLL)
Edit: Priest 3-3 (WLLWWL)
Edit: Warrior 7-3 (WLWLWWWWL - watching 6 hours of Trump seems to have helped...)
Edit: Priest 4-3 (WLLWWWL - and got the worst prizes ever... all dust)
Edit: Palladin 6-3 (LWWWWWWLL - made a dumb mistake in this one)
Edit: Palladin 7-3 (WWWWWLLWWL - another dumb mistake here)
Edit: Mage 5-3 (LWLWWWWL)
Edit: Priest 4-3 (WWWWLLL)

Just started playing and I'm really liking it so far. Any tips for the arena? I'm getting slaughtered every time I play. I'm considering just buying packs directly with my gold. My best run was 4-3 with the rogue

Google "hearthstone arena guide"?

5-3 is my best, so I'm not much better than you unfortunately.

Man even just filling in the basic cards Priest is easy mode. 1/3 with card draw using the hero's special ability? For 1 mana!? I hate that card already.

It does only work if you have damaged creatures. Priest does have some crazy combos that make superpowered minions (double health, attack = health) but it's also fun to silence a 20/40 Questing Adventurer and turn it back into a 2/2.

"Get 2 wins with a Druid, even though you are level zero with that character, and we will match you against people with tricked out decks".

10 games later....

Daily quests now specify two classes to increase the chance that it's for a class you play more often.

You can also complete quests in the arena. Sometimes I'll let my quests stack so I can complete one or two in one arena run.

If you went 10-0 with other classes, it will take a while to get your MMR back down to where it needs to be for you to start winning matches. If you play your weakest classes more than your strongest ones, you won't have this problem.

You can also grind up to level 10 against the AI to unlock some Druid cards that you can add to your deck.

How is the quest for a key treating you?

If I didn't have bad luck, I would have no luck at all. Maybe it's a sign to go out and get some of this "fresh air" that people are talking about.
