Default X-Mas gifts for employees

Just to piggybacking on a previous posted thread...

I offer a unique product that has shown huge success with employee gifts and or promotional items. We can generate campaigns for small companies or large corporations. CP pricing obviously! PM me for demonstrations and more info if you want to place an order...

www.dynotag.com

The best sellers are key locater tags, pet tags, luggage tags and general item QR code tags... (for use with laptops, phones, etc..)

Thought the thread title was X-Man gifts at first, very disappointed now.

I was looking at these. They rely on other people to have a QR reader though. I know almost everyone has a phone and can get a QR app for it but how many people actually do?
We have looked at putting QR codes on paperwork that we create to access additional information but worried about the penetration.

i think its quite common that people use QR code readers... im always using mine. The labels and tags can also hold as much info as needed and you can track when its scanned.
Uses: luggage, pets, alzheimers patients, pets, people with allegies, kids (great for kids when your out in a large populated space - we have tshirts with qr codes), car dealerships, keychains, laptop, cell phones and the list goes on

Marketing people use QR codes all the time. I don't know any "normal" people that use QR codes on a regular basis.

That totally explains why I always got all this QR code talk when I hung out with my friend who was deep into marketing. All he would ever talk about was QR codes and social media like some kind of religious experience.

Yeah, I don't see the benefit to this beyond a regular lost and found tag. I actually think this would make you less likely to get your keys/pet/kid back then if it had your phone number in an obvious place, imo. The vast majority of people don't use QR codes. http://www.scanlife.com/blog/2013/02...nd-statistics/

when the tag/sticker is scanned an email and location where it was scanned gets sent to the owner of the item... maybe not for everyone but it saved me $200 the other day when my keys and FOB were left at Toys R Us. I quickly changed the info on my QR code to say I just lost them and was at the front of the store... Keys were scanned by an employee and had my keys within 5 minutes... All that for a small cost of less than $10

Yeah, if I was going to go to the effort of putting a QR code on all my stuff I think I'd just put my phone number on there instead. Everybody understands what a phone number is. A small chunk of people know what a QR code is and an even smaller chunk of people would bother scanning it.

I agree im sure not everone would label EVERTHING but maybe things that can be lost and quickly returned. Ive tried using a keychain thing with my name and phone number written on it with permanent ink and it just fades over time. Metal dog tag ingraving also fades and is hard to read. Also nice that when we travel with our dog I can change our address on the tag in a flash!

This thread now conjures up nothing but images of ruddstud getting chewed out by Mark Cuban and Kevin O'leary

I'm picturing ruddstud as one of those aggressive mall kiosk salespersons that you desperately avoid making eye contact with.
