I assume the talent level in the ECHL is significantly lower than in the AHL, which itself is significantly lower than the NHL.
The Finnish league, where Ortio put up decent numbers last year, is probably a higher quality of competition than the ECHL.

The USCHO.com weekly poll is out: http://www.uscho.com/rankings/d-i-mens-poll/
Providence College made a huge jump from #8 last week, to #3 this week after a solid 1-0-1 weekend against former #3, Miami (Ohio).
Minnesota remained a strong #1, receiving every first place vote, after going 1-0-1 against Boston College, who dropped from #5 to #8.
Yale dropped from #7 to #11 after a 1-1 weekend.

On the broadcast of the game on Friday, they interviewed Coach Leaman after the game and when he was asked about Jankowski's goal, he just shook his head and said it was a "special play from a special player".

No points for Coda Gordon or Eric Roy (so far) in the WHL tonight, but Brett Kulak has a goal and two assists against Prince George. He's been on a real tear the past little while - up to a point-per-game now, with 16 in 16.

So it doesn't look I will get to see BC and Providence in the QF's... unless BC slides down. But I don't see that happening. I could theoretically go to both teams games as Providence is only about a hour out of Boston...

I only just found out that Red Bull Salzburg has an MHL team  never heard anything about that ... anyway, they host Rushan Rafikov and Lok Yaroslavl on November 24th. Excited to see a Flames prospect live in action
