Wow, I have to be honest, I thought that there was no way in hell I was getting a win in this one. We had to sit Jonathan Ericsson and were overall a depleted team. But there it is....26 seconds into the third and on the PP we find a way. Between Hossa and Hiller we have a little momentum!

The Jackets pick up their 3rd win in a row, this time by shutting down the Senators. The 2nd line FINALLY gets going after some shuffling to the lineup but we haven't played a game yet this year where the top two lines produced on the same night thus we are in a lot of close, low scoring games.

Ryan Miller has been great and Johan Franzen finally didn't suck and maybe he will like his new role on 2nd line LW.

3 Stars

1 - Johan Franzen (CBJ)
2 - Marian Gaborik (CBJ)
3 - Ryan Miller (CBJ)

Kings seem to have lost the scoring touch they had earlier in the season and pre-season.

Brian McGrattan and John Tavares lead the 'Canes past the New Jersey Devil's 7-3. McGrattan picked up his first goal of the year as Tavares added two goals and two assist. Last seasons rookie of the year Tyler Seguin continues his hot streak by filling in the hole left by injured Patrick Marleau by scoring his 4th ans 5th of the season.

'Canes also sat out tired rearguard Jay Bouwmeester in a wasted attempt to rest him failed because an active Joni Pitkanen healed at the same rate while playing.... no sense scratching, just reduce the minutes is the same result

3 Stars
1 - John Tavares (CAR)
2 - Tyler Seguin (CAR)
3 - Brian McGrattan (CAR)

Sabres blow a lead and end up with a shootout loss to the Oilers, staying around the .500 mark in the process and slipping out of the top 8 in the conference

Lundy was stellar while one game call up Hrivik chips in with a goal and a +2, after losing the season opener against the Hawks we were happy to get one back
