Well no kidding. It will sell but I think this jersey will be mothballed pretty quickly. Some of you seem to take issue with some of us not liking it which I simply don't understand as everyone has a right to an opinion here and these jerseys are not exactly a slam dunk beautiful design. I'm fine with some people liking them but I don't. That could change after seeing them worn by players in a couple of games but right now to me they look poorly concieved.

To me, every single Flames jersey has been brutal outside of the red and gold 1980s set. My rankings are as follows:
Awesome
1. 1989 red
2. 1989 white
Brutal
3. 2004 red
4. Pedestal red
5. 2004 white
6. Pedestal white
7. Current red
8. Current white
9. New third jersey
10. Horse head third jersey

Anybody notice the black shoulders aren't straight lines, but look like the yoke design of a cowboy shirt? Kind of neat, and another thing EA got wrong.
I admit I went and bought one. They're actually pretty nice. With the discount it was $250 for an authentic. Camalleri almost ran me over as I was leaving out the back.

I thought they were just sitting oddly without pads. If this is true, I take back what I said about the shoulder yoke looking better than in the screenshots.

I dont know how you can say the 2004 jerseys are brutal. I get some people objecting to black but that certainly doesnt make it brutal.

Judging by the other designs, the design team had two criteria:
1. Combine dark red with white, yellow and black in a different way
2. Incorporate a cowboy theme (cowboy shirt yoke, cowboy book skate, horse shoes, etc.)
You can't win with that combination. Almost every outcome is terrible.

The reaction around the league to this is going to be just brutal. The Flames really botched this one

I like the 2004 jerseys. The originals are still the best but the 2004 jerseys are pretty close. I actually like the horse ones though so I guess there's a lot of varying opinions.

After seeing the jerseys in person, they have grown on me. I bought a blank one.

People like the 2004 design just because they were associated with that awesome cup run and they were the jerseys that brought red back. They're horrible, though because they have way too much black, almost no yellow and a terrible shoulder patch.

We went from having the best 3rd jersey in the league to the worst.
