Look at the empty white space between the W and the Whale's tail. It forms and H.

Looked for a joke here but every image was way to NSFW to post.

Ah yes. Didn't know the Whalers logo was being discussed.
Reminds me of when I realized the Milwaukee Brewers symbol was made up of an M and a B. As a kid I always thought they had the worst symbol because it was just a boring baseball glove. Now I love it.

Ah... the old days... when logos actually had some creativity and meaning.
The Hartford logo is still my favorite. I remember my grade 9 art class we were doing a project on negative space, or whatever other term is used, can't remember precisely. Sure someone here will set me straight on the terminology, but the teacher used that logo as a reference.

Using this one would've worked to show that effect as well:

I don't think they are available to purchase at Flames Fest, but I could be wrong. I think you may just get a coupon. Again, could be totally wrong, but that's what I think is happening.

So will that sale just be at Flames Fest? For someone not going, is there any other way to get them on sale like that?

Probably not right away, no. It's kind of an incentive to get people to Flames Fest.

I would if I could.... Things like that would be great to go to! Just another reason why I envy most of you guys. Just having the chance to go to things like this (let alone the ability to go to games) is pretty amazing! Do any of you guys plan on going?
