My first look at NHL was 1994 finals that were broadcasted in Russia. I was rooting for Canucks because of Bure and their cool black uniform. As I was getting into NHL, though, it quickly dawned on me that Canucks suck. I still dont know why, it was just my teenage gut feeling. They just screamed suckiness to me. Can not understand how Canucks fans never see it.

I feel spoiled having Edmonton and Vancouver as neighbours. We're literally in between teams that are each in their own class as far as league wide perception. One can't win, even after half a decade of getting first overall picks, and the other has no respect because of their playing style.
