Not sure why they didn't hire you to begin with.

I actually did get a graphic design job with the Flames years ago, but I didn't like the way the department was run so I declined the offer.

There is always a chance, but I don't think that's the intended plan for Jankowski... they found him in a high school league, and I understand they consider him a long-term project. He's got a frame to grow into, he's got skills to develop, and he's still pretty rough around the edges.
Very likely you can't pen him into a fantasy lineup until 2016 at the earliest.

Jankowsi last year :
38 GP 7 Goals 11 Assists
Jankowski THIS year:
4GP 4 Goals 1Assist
Either this is fluke, or the kid is growing up. Either way, I'm very happy with how he's doing for now.

He should be done school in 2015 so that could be the year he joins the flames... Especially if he continues to develop the way he is.

To be totally honest I think Jankowski plays College next year, his third, then can make the jump to pro after that.
Last season was a tough one at times but he answered a lot of challenges well and it really accelerated his development. Had he went to prep school last year this would have been his first four games for the Friars and I don't think you'd be seeing the same player.
He's also back at center this year, was moved to the wing to get more ice time. He's playing really well with a lot more responsibility. The season will have it's downs to go with these ups but it's hard not to see the upside in him.

That 2nd goal was pretty sweet. Looks to be some solid skill in that big frame.

He hopefully becomes a great second line centre. I don't think he will be ahead of Monahan in the long run though.

The path Janko has been on for his development is looking just about ideal. By the time he's ready to turn pro I think, with those physical tools, he could make an immediate impact!
Our young/prospect centre depth is looking much better than ever. Not including Horak because of recent winger-ness.

It's too bad none of the replays of last night's goal show the broadcast angle. You could really see the way he undressed the d-man and froze the goalie from that angle.
Providence plays again today at 5MT and the game is being streamed live: http://go.coxsportsonline.com/liveEv...B_OEM_ID=25400 (the link should become live around 4:40MT)
The other thing that's impressive about yesterday's goal was that it wasn't against some schlub of a team. Miami was the #3 ranked team in the country going into this weekend.

Jankowski has such a high ceiling. It's going to be interesting to watch his progression.

If we're speaking "hopefully" then I'll hope for more. Hopefully he becomes a great 1st line center.
