Not the effort I am used to from this team..

I am VERY unhappy with Glenncross' play this year, it's been piss poor.

Really miss Gio. Seems like he is the heart and soul of the team.

Got outworked today from the getgo. Not a fun game to watch.

Hartley really messed it up. Ramo was had a supreme game against the Kings. He should have went back to him the next nite in Phoenix.

I have never seen a turnover like Breen's lead to 3 goals! hehe

You can't blame Ramo for any of those goals.

I don't think the team would intentionally lose but they seemed disconnected tonight.

Always gotta try and find the positives:
-Our 30th ranked PK was 4/4 including 2 extended 5 on 3s.
-Monahan was 63% on his faceoffs tonight.

...end of list.

Last game in a week plus long road trip as well. Wasn't going to be easy.

Hope we can bounce back Saturday.

Wow, if that's what happens when you supposedly take out your worst defensive player in Baerchi, he'll be the top plus/minus player in a few more games like that. There was no creativity at all. Hudler is our best creative forward without Baerchi in the lineup. I suppose the Flames coaching staff think Sven should be a selke trophy nominee before getting credit for defense. I saw Sven many times back checking and rarely giving up the puck at inopportune times. Reminds me of the same old Flames management, breaking up good lines to get Iginla going, well now they just do it to send a message. Our best forward line "was" Hudler, Monahan, and Baerchi. Now we're screwing with the chemistry.

Last game of a tough road trip and it showed. The Flames are a below average hockey team so games like tonight should not be surprising.

I'm just waiting for them to ship out some veterans so the likes of Horak, Knight, Hanowski, Cundari, Seiloff, etc will get some chances in the NHL.

Seems that the veterans coming back have upset the chemistry the young guys had.

I don't care about the lose, I care about the effort. I can understand why there was no effort against Phoenix being tired on a road trip, but the effort tonight has to be much better. Hopefully they put the effort back in on Saturday.

Team really needs to work on the defensive side of the game. Too many mental mistakes resulting in opposition goals.
