Man I turn on the TV, Ortiz hits a two-run home run then I look at the Flames score and Dallas scored 3 goals in 1 minutes. Maybe I'll keep the TV off.

Oh well. It's gonna be a long season for Calgary and these games are going to be more often than not.

Are you using special decoder goggles to see this?

What are you talking about?

pretty sure this team lost 5 of 9 games with Sven in the lineup...not saying a agree he should have been scratched but really. Gio is the big loss and other than a few massive brain cramps the game has been fine. couple breaks is the difference

Don't break your hands patting your self on the back. Nobody cares. Nobody was thinking we were a .800 point percentage team.
Who exactly are you talking to here? I haven't seen any "sky is falling" stuff. Everyone knows that there were going to be nights like this. As has been said it's surprising it took a full 10 games for a stinker.

Regarding the comment on Vernon he said the only reason that he even knew the name was because someone a few rows away was wearing a Vernon jersey.
Doesn't excuse that stuff in a broadcast. Guest PBP guy for an entire period? Only in America.

1. I've seen a few people make jokes about it, hardly anyone "pounding their chest:".

2. You add nothing to the conversation... again.

3. How about not baiting people to come "pound their chest" in the first place?

Go on champ, nice try.

It's absolutely insane the start this guy is off to. He never had more then 8 goals in all his four seasons of junior and three AHL seasons. If this guy even half-way keeps up this scoring pace it would be one of the most amazing stories in the NHL the past several years.

He eats NHL-E stats for breakfast.

BRUTAL decision to healthy scratch Baerstchi. One of the worst I've ever seen this team make actually.

That's how you destroy a locker room. Young, working hard? Bench.

Glencross, lazy as fata, up the minutes, play in key situations. Makes sense. Idiots.

Maybe Flames management forced Snet to keep Kerr so his terrible commentary will take the flack of the rebuild for the next few years. At least that's what I hope they have planned.

Or they could just fire him after tonight, that'd work for me.

Wait til you see the own goal that Tampa scored on themselves to tie it up with a minute or so left...maybe the best one ever, though they did recover and win in OT.

Oh come on. It's one game. One game. I don't think Sven would have prevented the defensive collapses. He will be back in the lineup soon as I'm sure there's a player or two in tonight's lineup playing themselves into the press box.
