I think this new third jersey is a prelude to our primary home and away jerseys returning to the classic red, gold and white patterns that we all want.
Is there any place for such an optimistic outlook here on CP?

In full agreement. The dropping of the 3rd retro increases the likelihood that the regular set re-design, within the next few years, is basically going to pay homage to the originals.

Maybe they are announcing they are starting a new Flames baseball team. I'm really not a fan of the font...maybe it will look better on an actual jersey. Also looking forward to the CARGALY knockoffs.

I agree 100%. I love the Heritage Classic look the Flames put together. Too bad we only got to see it used once.

I got one of the authentics and put IGINLA on it and it's probably the nicest thing I own (except my bicycle.) Definitely my go-to 'Dome jersey.
They look 100x better numbered than blank. Same with the horsehead jersey.

I don't see where this color pattern matches up with the NHL 14 version. Either the leak pics were too far away to show it, EA got it slightly wrong, or the new jersey is different what what we think.

It kind of does, but I don't see any yellow in that area in the leaked pics. But like I said above, the leaked pics may not have been detailed enough to show it. That yellow stripe is pretty thin.
