Agreed, I love his determination when he's on the ice. Can never have too many guys like him. Backlund's been playing similar as well.

It's been great to see and it's almost an infectious vibe amongst the troops so to speak. Everyone is doing everything, blocking shots, back checking, sacrificing, it's definitely something different. I will say that Glencross seems to be forcing it a little bit now, I think he wants to try, I think he wants to be a bigger role and almost knows that he has to but I hate when I see Poutface, it's really bothersome.

These guys seem to be having fun and playing like a team instead just a gang of athletes in the same sweaters. I follow backlund on twitter and the guy is constantly joking around with his teammates.

Also earlier today, Backlund was making fun of Monahan for having a picture of his dog as his Twitter profile pic: https://twitter.com/mbacklund11/stat...07842103644160

@Monahan20 now when you're a full time NHLer it might be time to change your profile pic even tho I love dogs too... #rookie

lol Here's another example of some great camaraderie on this team right now. Gets good around 1:15 mark...
