Default October 23, just two games.

Another quiet Wednesday in the NHL as it is "rivalry night."

At 1730h on TSN and TVA Sports in french.

Game of the night here with these new division rivals because it has Alfredsson going against his former team. The Senators lead 2-0.

This is not much of a rivalry game since the Sabres are in the basement of their division and second to last in their conference.

Gryba and then Spezza on the power play for the Senators. The Red Wings are being out played since the start of the game.

For canadian viewers, Centre Ice is not needed as both games are on regular television.

Bobby Ryan scores to make it 3-0 Senators and have scored on both their power play opportunities. Howard has been pulled now and Gustavsson is in goal for Detroit.

Iggy's passing has always been underrated. Gorgeous play.

Hodgson with a power play goal gets the Sabres on the board, 2-1 Bruins now.
Hamilton scores and makes it 3-1 Bruins.

Zadorov scores for Buffalo, 3-2 Bruins. This looks like the game to watch now. Cowen makes it 5-1 Senators.

Two knocks against Iginla are his notorious slow starts and he never finds instant chemistry with players that some guys seem to do. Those three are starting to click now, become more familiar etc. Once they do I think they'll be more then fine.

John Scott is the most useless player in the whole league, I hope he never plays another NHL game. Extremely dirty hit on Eriksson - late, elbow, directly to the head. Will be interesting to see the suspension ... thought he was a repeat offender, but he has actually never been suspended. Shocked.

I think Buffalo will be picking first overall this year.

John Scott should be suspended for the year.....is it just me or are these hits becoming a nighty occurrence?

There is no suspension that would be too long for Scott, including a life time suspension. He is a piece if carp and has no place in the game and this from a supporter of fighting in the NHL.
