Glencross - Backlund - D. Jones
Galiardi - Colborne - Bouma

I see no problems with this line up. You can substitute McGrattan, Jackman, Horak on the 4th line depending on of you need more skill or grit each game. As an aside, with the way Glencross is playing, personally, I'd swap him places with Galiardi. No need to immediately trade a Center unless someone in Abbotsford is really pushing for an NHL spot.

Why would they do this, don't they know Hartley doesn't know how to handle the rookies?

Him and CC should be room mates, we could make a sitcom out of it.
Craig Conroy? We want the kid to actually get sleep once in a while.

Conroy - "Hey Sean, hey Sean? you awake? Hey Sean? I just wanna talk for a minute"

True, I just looked at the roster and we could run 5 lines based on the roster today:

Cammy - Stajan - Stemps
Galiardi - Backlund - Glencross
Baertschi - Monahan - Hudler
Bouma - Colborne - Jones
McGrattan - Horak - Jackman

Really only need to trade/waive a couple players. Chances are Cammy, Glencross and Stajan go, Jackman hopefully waived and then we have a spot for a Heat callup.

Value to this team for a couple weeks during December? Who cares. It's much more important for him to get a chance to experience the world-stage against elite peers, be a leader on his team, and get a chance to play in high-pressure situations... than it is for him to contribute to an average team in the middle of the season.

I know we've been getting points this season, but pretty much every decision right now should be towards the betterment of the young guys, and not to the Standings. The WJC's will be another great learning experience for Monahan... they definitely shouldn't prevent him from getting it just because they might get an extra point or two out of it. He'll have the rest of the year to get the NHL experience.

I would. He wasn't there in 2012 and its a once in a lifetime experience (for some players) and I think it would do him the world of good with respect to his development as an elite hockey player.
Looks like Feaster is taking my advice...

He also qualified it by saying the Flames will make a decision whether to let Monahan go closer to the start of the tournament, but it does sound like he has no problem in letting him go.

No shock here. I say if the Flames fall badly by WJ time then we should send him out there.

I finally know which jersey to get.

Damn that kid looks good in a Flames jersey. It's like he was born to wear it.

Think I'll have any issues getting a Flames retro 3rd jersey crested? I assume they still have the numbers and font at the Fannatic?

Roger Millions ‏@RogMillions 15s Monahan agreed to staying with billets. Shows his maturity and solid upbringing. Quality kid who has earned this opportunity.
Moving into a bigger house right now, he can stay with me.
I'll drive him to work, if he can get me free tickets.
