Obvious move is obvious.
I think the more interesting question is which center gets bumped now. Stajan coming back is going to make things pretty tight. Somebody better get injured soon! (not you, Mono).

I have a feeling they probably made their decision on this a few games ago and likely told Monahan then. But this is good news! Hopefully he can keep pushing it.

Probably forced their hand with the early production, but he has also met the challenge with increasing ice-time over the last handful of games.
I too think he is better served on the big club.
