If you go to the University of Colorado...
... and you need some quick money, go here: http://www.colorado.edu/police/420_P...lbum/index.htm
The University is offering up $50 rewards for the correct identification of any of the people pictured on the website smoking marijuana.
There's 150 photos right now, and it'll continue to grow!

My experience with parties at CU says that they are not very fun, if you are the guests of the hosting house that is.
Long story.
Wild, wild town. Great downtown bar scene though.
Let's just say that our 'hosts' on one fateful night in 1990 were on much more than a little bit of harmless weed.

Really what can they prove from those pictures? All it shows for many is that they were smoking a rolled substance, how do they know if it's tobacco or weed? I mean it's obvious but theres no way that legally they could take any action with this. If something like this happened to me I would sue faster than the blink of an eye.

A good lawyer (even a mediocre lawyer) could punch more holes in this case without breaking a sweat. Sure most of these people are likely smoking pot, but pictures don't prove a thing.

Actually, they prove that the people were trespassing as the park was closed from 12-5 on April 20, 2006. That's what the offence in question is despite what the thread starter claims.

Yeah that's all about "trespassing" and I guess they added the shots of them smoking weed just to make 'em nervous.
The funny thing is at least half of those people will think it's great to have a picture of themselves, pipe in hand, on the internet. And you know one of them has tried to collect the 50 bucks by identifying himself. My guess is this guy.

True. But my assumption is these people are being pursued for smoking pot. If they were gathering for a prayer meeting, there wouldn't be this witch hunt.

A prayer meeting? At ultra-liberal CU? Yeah, there would be a witch hunt!
