Unfortunate to see the vote splitting happening in Ward 9, and letting that putz Carra run away with it.

Alexander / Farrell voters share more in common as compared to Taylor, with Alexander a more centrist option to Farrell. If anything Taylor (and the Manning Center) should take this as a crushing defeat as the protest vote went to Alexander.
Bottom line, Ward 7 typically votes to the left, sending Liberal MLA's to Edmonton. As much as it outrages the rest of the city - this is not a right leaning ward. Could it be....Druh represents the wishes of her constituents?

Great play by Glencross x2 on winning goal. Great play to maintain possession on entering zone, great hustle to then cause havoc in front of the net for Brodie's goal.
He wont get an assist, but vintage Glencross

That sucks. Money talks, I guess.

Taylor and Alexander share nothing in common other than they're not Farrell.

I think that's wrong. The vote DID split between them. The story here is that Taylor got creamed.

I'd argue that the vote split happened between Farrell and Alexander and prevented one of them from having a landslide victory.

Maybe. But there's no strategy that held Taylor back. He was wiped off the map. Strategy or no strategy.

I'm still not 100% sure on Wolley for ward 8. But if he keeps true to his platform I think he'll be alright.

My wife and I voted for him as well. I'm not sure if Magliocca or Poon would have been my last choice

Or people in suburban wards support a build out and spend on infastruture type platform. I dont think you can argue that any incumbant is underfunded.
