Well considering their game just disappeared after it was scored ...
We'll see how they come out after the 2nd intermission.

As I said before, that's really where speed, strength, and reach come in handy.

Ramo was really good that period and I'm not putting goat horns on him but really that wasn't a hard tap in to stop if a goaltender is following the play. Maybe he wasn't expecting his defensemen to just let the Kings walk in like that.

Mitchell learned well in Vancouver. Surprised he didn't dive clutching his leg screaming bloody murder only to bounce up and skate off.

Ha, Jeff Marek talking about the upcoming intermission panel and how they'll let us know how the Flames got back in this game, and give us the hint that Cammalleri and Monahan had something to do with it.
Really, our goal scorers helped us get back into the game?

The 2nd goal against wasnt his fault...he took his man wide and wideman (no pun intended) didnt play his man strong enough.
As for the flames second goal..."he took the hit to make the play". No he didnt...he took a hit and someone else picked it up to make a play.

I think Ramo has been pretty awesome except for that big rebound he gave up in the first. I don't see the Flames quitting because of that goal. Go boys!!!

Love how blunt and business-like Monahan is. Most kids seem very giddy in their interviews.

Monahan talks, plays and acts like a 25 year old leader.

He was following the play. You can still say that even a perfect tip-in should not trickle in like that but I don't think he was unprepared.

I love Marek. His podcast is gold.
In telling a story about how a player shat themselves on the ice: "I don't want to embarrass Rhett Warrener, so I won't say who it was."

Man him and Toews are the same guy hey? They call Toews, "Captain Serious," and we've got our Sean Monotone.

He's killed quite a few defensive zone threats and his breakout has been pretty good I thought. He has missed a few passes though

His name isn't Wideman for no reason! Go wide on Wideman and you'll likely have an odd man rush.

The D should be playing Richards harder than that, all around just a bad play. You can fault the D who weren't being aggressive enough or Ramo for being in a strange position.
