If they called DB's for that maybe it would be fine but the Pats DB's have made a career of that push (especially against Mannings Colts back in the day.)

20th in yds against per game.

23rd in passing yards per game against.

26th in pts per game aginst.

As for points scored...and this is where it gets completely skewed...how many of those points are from defensive/special teams TD's, never mind the short fields the offense started from? I know at least 5 D/ST tD's are part of that number which would lower the PPG mark to somewhere around 20th in the NFL using just the offensive scoring.

You realize they changed the rules specifically because of how the Pats used to play coverage, right? I really don't think NFL refs are supposed to make rulings that are arbitrarily-based on material that's nearly a decade old, but maybe that's just me.

No they should make calls that are consistent and PI is one of the worst/most inconsistent calls made in any level of football.

Im not 'trumpeting' their defense.

7th in pass D against = 7th WORST comes right from NFL.com

My point is obviously that their D is horrible and yet they are a 4-2 team, their D is nowhere close to the reason why their record is where they are at. The bears O has been FAR more consistant this season then their D has been.
