Good news, kid can play and gives us some more punch on the back end. When I was in Abby last year, he was a hell of an enforcer.

I wonder if Smith gets sent down to the AHL. Doesn't have to clear waivers right now.

Looks like Blair Jones got sent down to keep the roster numbers the same.

Lol did Blair Jones run over Hartley's dog or something??

His treatment seems relatively unfair all things considered.

"Hartley's had it in for Blair Jones ever since he kinda ran over his dog...

Well, replace the word 'kinda' with the word 'repeatedly' and the word 'dog' with 'son'."

Who takes the seat in the press box? The automatic response seems to be Butler, but Brodie was by far the worst guy on the ice last night and he's had a couple of stinkers in a row.

I think there's more to the story but I think he's a way better option than Jackman and in some games Mcgrattan.

Are you suggesting they'll play him as a forward?

Nevermind, I guess you're talking about Jones.

Blair Jones is on a one way deal isn't he?

He gets an NHL pay cheque whether here or not but I guess he gets NHL travel/hotels which likely beats what he gets in the AHL.

He's talking about jones.

Good recall for the flames. I've been saying for a year Breen needs an audition at the next level so we actually know what we have in him. Based on what I saw in Abbotsford (granted not much) he will immediately help the PK if nothing else.

Cammy back at practice, Breen hopefully taking Butler's spot. Potential for some help to get us back in the W column.

Breen was on a conditional stint in the AHL because of his injury. He was going to have to come up sometime. To be assigned fulltime to the AHL he would have to pass through waivers.

According to Cap Geek, you are correct. He is on a one-way deal.

I get the impression that Blair Jones isn't the most popular guy. I think ability-wise, he could be a 4th liner on this team, but for whatever reason, he doesn't fit in.
