I hope this is just slumping Glencross and not "pouty over the rebuild wielding a NTC" Glencross.

We received 7 of 8 straight penalties between the 2nd and 3rd periods. Many were borderline, while the Sharks seemed to get away with the exact same things.

So frustrating when the refs take over.

I like Elliott Friedman.

I also like how I don't get mad when this Flame team loses because it looks like the effort is there at leasr. Can't say the same for previous years.

Looking forward to the next game.

Feel bad for Ramo. Played well and can not catch a break. Colbourne has been better since he has better mates on his sides. Glenx pulling an Iggy feels more entitled than he is ( Except Iggy proved he's elite) . Brodie 50/50 . streets had his 15 mins of fame . Jackman's hit well you can fault him really. Keep monarail up. Svensationial. Watch your back for stepniak . Refs this game is not about you your as trigger happy as Dick Cheney.

Especially when one broke the back of a potential comeback.

The kids are really taking over though. Sven and Sean had shifts were they absolutely dominated the play. I don't really see a reason for Monahan to be sent down at this point. Sure the team may not compete for a playoff spot but he's getting more than enough ice-time for a rookie to improve

Looks like a confidence issue with Glencross.

That third period 2 on 1 is a perfect example. Any other year that is a blistering wrist shot up high.

He needs to relax and the game will come.

I wonder what they cut off there that Thornton was going to say.

Glencross is the only player not buying in. It's time for someone (coach or management) to talk to him. If that doesn't work, he needs to be a healthy scratch so he can re-evaluate if he really wants to be part of the solution.

Brodie had a rough game but he'll bounce back.

Got to love Backlund's game so far this year.

And what more can be said about the Sven-Sean combination...

All in all, I think they played pretty well against the best team in the league. The effort was there (by the younger guys at least). We're just not as good at the game of hockey as of this moment. Oh well, still made a game of it.

If the Flames can address the players that are not doing well, like Butler, SOB, Jackman, Glencross etc. either through calling them out (Glencross) or roster moves (Butler/SOB/Jackman) than we will be better.

I'm very pleased with the effort and result.

Not too much to feel bad about here. We shouldn't be able to keep up with a team like the Sharks, but the push back in the 3rd was nice, even though it came up short. Ref's were bad but we didn't deserve to win this one any way. Can't fault Ramo after stopping 2 clear breakaways and a penalty shot, he just didn't have much help tonight. I still hope he gets the next start. It'll be nice to see what we can do when Stajan, Jones and Cammy get back. Glencross is playing like crap. Don't think he needs to be traded but he's inline for an attitude adjustment. And Monohan STAYS!!
