The way the refs have been calling this, I'm shocked Galiardi didn't get a penalty for taking his helmet off during a fight. Would have made as much sense as a couple of them.

Except this isn't a game that warrants "giving him a pass". He didn't have a chance on any of the 5 SJ scored tonight and has looked solid, calm, and controlled from the drop of the puck.

I complain about bad refs as much as anyone but it really is a shame this game was called as bad as it was. I truly think the Flames could have made the comeback if the officials hadn't gift wrapped the game for the Sharks in the third. Seriously this might be one of the biggest jokes of a game I can remember.
Depressing but at least I can take some solace in the fact that this team unlike any Flames team in the last decade will not quit. That's pretty darn fun to see.
Oh and Monahan!

Liking the fighting and scrumming in the corners and after the whistles. First game I watched this year. I like this team.
