Yes we suck, yes it's men against boys. Blah blah blah...

True, but you have a bunch of die hard passionate Flames fans and they are getting a beating, what did you expect?

MacDonald seems like a nice guy but you're not wrong about Hartley having a crush on him. I think the main reason Rämö started tonight was that they expected to lose either way.

I haven't seen the Kings or the Coyotes yet this season but I think the four southern teams in this new Pacific division are going to dominate the three Canadian teams.

I am sure he is and that is why I guess that saying "Never judge a book by its cover" is very true.

Not on the PP period. I think both him and Galiardi should be there.

Get an early one and see what happens. One thing about the Sharks, their loosey goosey attitude can haunt them sometimes.
I remember the Flames going in there last year and winning and "Jumbo" was on After Hours and was all smiles and talking about how the team was going out that night and basically talking about anything but losing to an inferior Flames team.

Yeah, some things never change. This was expected, and I'm okay with it as long as they put in good efforts like the last game.

I'm under the impression that he's a very well liked teammate, but I'm not sure where I got the idea. Might be that they've also been building some team spirit through him early on. Have one guy to rally around rather than uncertainty about who your goalie is.

Other than some stupid penalties, the Flames effort has been there. They have had their moments.

People to step back for the ledge, realzie this is the first bad game the team has played this season, realize this is one of the best starts to a season this team has had in a long time and not "wonder what happened" to one of our best players the last 2 years because hes having an off night. I know it's asking a lot.
I guess I just don't understand all the laughably silly conclusions some posters are jumping to based on a single game against the best team in the league.

I think so too, I may be a bit biased as I'm Finnish, but it's very unfair against Rämö to throw him in against the Sharks, should have rolled with Macdonald for this one. Seems like Hartley doesn't want any success whatsoever for Rämö, also feels like he needed an excuse to keep him out of the goal, so he threw him in here.

I hope Hartley has the team come out looking to win the period and stay out of the penalty box. Build toward the next game.
