I'm "fine" with a loss. I just want the guys to focus and give it their all even though they're up against a great team. It feels like they throw away pucks that they really shouldn't and that they're being a bit sloppy.

On the plus side I though Ramo looked good, didn't have a chance on either goal

First goal was Russell fanning on the puck and shying away from the hit, causing a turnover for the easy one-timer goal.
Second goal was Brodie rushing back and instead of carrying the puck behind the net, he forces the pass up the boards to the point for a clear shot.

Hey PJ Stock, King Kong called, and he wants his tie back.
Look at the knot on that thing. It's the size of his head.

Not what I meant. In general, he just doesn't seem to want the puck on his stick, and has trouble getting it back.
Yes, the west has some killer centres, so no issue in protecting him thru development, if he's not ready.

Glenn Healy raving about Monahan.
Thinks Mono will stay up, as does Weekes.
Friedman says that the decision will be made after game 9, as per Feaster... which isn't surprising.

PJ Stock is a moron. "Joe Thornton is a hard man to play with" No PJ, you just really sucked. You could put Chris Butler on Joe's wing and he would probably score 30, he is that damn good.

Russell has been struggling badly, yet the CBC guys have only mentioned a couple nice chips he made. He looks like he is scared of the puck. Butler is a lost cause. Glencross plays a lazy game and takes stupid penalties. If someone gives us anything, take it.

All of a sudden I love Glenn Healy.
That moment was fleeting.

If Glencross can pull his head out if his ass and lead like he's supposed to we can still play this game. Every game I watch him the more I dislike his play.
Anyway we need a greasy goal early in the second to get back in it.

Maybe CP will stop crying about the media now after Healy's glowing review of Monahan?
Or, maybe not.

thornton doesn't need to score 4 goals for a bit of fun.
he just needs to skate the length of the ice on a backcheck (from a game against vancouver 9 days ago no less) for the cbc crew to apply the strokes.
why does cbc treat the sharks as one of their home teams? drew ramada has been gone for a few years now so you think that infatuation would be done.

First goal was WIDEMAN not taking net front position with a contested puck in the corner.
Defenders lose board battles, that's not a 'mistake', it just happen sometimes. It was pavelski, not Colton Orr, those things happen.

Glencross is off right now.
Wait until he goes on a red hot streak and trade his ass.

Glencross' play this year is really frustrating. He can be a much more effective player than he is showing.

Put him in the press box. We can lose without him
