Calvillo is probably done. He had a pretty good career

He was put on the nine game injured list back sometime September with a torn thumb ligament, his injury healed quicker then expected and he was activated off the list as the third string QB on Monday. Troy Smith has been taking all the first team reps in practice this week.

Hopefully Korey Sheets goes down south too. His arrogance and cockiness is too much for the CFL.

He is pretty amazing when talking about himself, thats for sure.
Stumbled across this gem from a couple days ago...

That's what Saskatchewan Roughriders running back Kory Sheets said about Jon Cornish, according to Riders radio voice Rod Petersen of 620 CKRM. But a look at the numbers tells a different story

A real humble guy...and dead wrong.

Cornish nearly has 300 yard lead now. Still less carries, you keep talking about yourself there Sheets.
I think at this point Cornish is probably thinking more about 2000 yards then this pee on catching him.

Demarco and Logan fumble it back for the Lions.
Roughing the Passer needs to be removed from the referees rulebook... Give me a few dirty shots that go uncalled over the umpteen clean hits that are flagged.
EDIT: and by 'dirty' I mean a perfectly legal hit to a football player and not the dumb extra protection the QB gets.

BC Lions is collapsing. Mistakes after mistakes in the last 5 minutes. DeMarco fumbled the ball Sask Weldon Smith and scored a TD. Next series, RB Stefan Logan fumbled the ball, Ricky Foley recovered. Durant threw the ball to Geroy Simon for a big gain then on the same play DL Eric Taylor got called for roughing penalty. Sask on 1st and goal. Had to change channel as I cannot stand how the Lions is giving away the game to the Riders.

No kidding. Durant backed up and tripped on Taylor's body. I think the call was for low tackle which i missed or didn't see.

Durant throws his 30th TD pass (franchise record is 35). Dressler with the run and catch for a TD

The Pussycats can't hold onto the ball. Time to go back to Vancouver and take 5.

IMO another horse#### roughing the passer caller that wiped out a Weldon Brown TD.

Not going well for Hamilton today. Penalties after penalties and their offense are just terrible. Had to give Montreal the ball again on the punt.. 10 yards penalty on Hamilton with too many men on the field.

That was a lame objectionable conduct penalty on Tisdale after the interception. The guy was happy running and Grant was on his way..So Tisdale just went over Grant not touching or pushing him. Hmmm.. not sure why that was called.

I knew Burris is coming out. He hasn't done anything but to be fair to him, he was practically going for his life in every play. Montreal defense are just awesome today and Hamilton OLine are just terrible...no protection on Burris period..

Only saw the highlights but Troy Smith could have a future in this league. Good poise, good mobility, and a nice, strong arm.
