It's mind bottling how the Bruins with a pp worse than a Preston/Lowry led one can still be a top team in the league AS(after Savard).

I know I'll hear it about this but I wouldn't mind Heatley on this team, something like Heatley + Granlund for a decent prospect of ours or Stempniak
DO NOT WANT Heatley!!!!!

Forgot Heatley was a UFA this coming year. If the wild are out of it, he might be a great trading chip at the deadline.

The guy is going to still be super effective at old age like St. Louis.

I think if Datsyuk ever gets old enough to not plaly, he'll somehow use magic to still compete.... It's not fair watching him out there.

Over/under on total number of hits in the Edm-Wsh game should be around 3.

Yikes the Capitals are a bad team - basically Edmonton east. Zero defensive structure, and offensively just want to swing around blind cross-ice passes all game long.

This is the kind of game Edmonton wants to play - this might be their best chance at a win on this road trip.

Is 77 Belov?

He is awful out there.

How did future superstar Klefblom not make this team?

I hate hits like the one Chimera just put on Justin Schultz. Crosschecking a guy as he is going full-bore into the boards should rightfully be called attempt to injure, not boarding.

1-1 tie after 20 in washington. Justin Schultz blew the zone early again and left Laich all alone in front to tie it.

Here's a drinking game - every time Kevin Quinn mentions the shots on goal count when the Oilers are leading it, have a swig.

So, one of their better trade chips if they fall out of it and one of their top prospects for a guy in Stempniak who isn`t as good as Heatley and is also a pending free agent?

Brilliant.

Weak, weak goal no matter how much Pierre tries to blame it on the screen.

Mike Green's enthusiastic line change will make a great gif.

Yes, Belov is 77.

He's like a big giraffe in his own end, but, in the offensive end I think he is better than Schultz. Big reach, crisp passes, never goes in too deep, holds the line pretty effectively.

Unfortunately for him, of the games I've seen this year, he has his worst shifts when paired with j. Schultz.

Missed the first..........the Caps got one goal on only 3 shots?

I thought Dubnyk was playing again for a second.

Could put Glenn Hall in net and he wouldn't make a dent in their horrible defensive coverage.

We've been on the wrong side of horrible trades, why can't we win one for once lol. No, I see how dumb that looks now that it's down there. I should have asked for their first rounder too. I could however see a trade where they pick up Vanek and need to shed salary so they trade Heatley away for very little.
