Why do people bag on McCarver? I've been listening to him 25 years and I think he explains the game fine without being overbearing.
I listened to Sutcliffe last night and this afternoon and he was so full himself.

Make it three consecutive postseason games where one team's starting pitcher has gone five (or more) hitless innings.

Big Papi just hit a grand slam to tie the game at 5-5.
Tori Hunter nearly saved it and took a nasty flip into the bullpen.

Eighth and ninth have been everything bad about the Tigers all season long - shaky bullpen and bad infield defense, especially at the corners. (Fielder missed the popup and Cabrera couldn't even move for that grounder).

Sox have been growing beards all year it was their team bonding. In typical redsox fashion they get some wild pitches and some botched plays and just like that it costs you the game. It is so frustrating how they cash in on every opportunity they get!

The Red Sox were celebrating far too much for my liking, considering they had tied up a best of series at one apiece, not just won the world series.

I don't know about that. They were down by 4 runs in the 8th and won with a walk off, I was jumping up and down celebrating too. It's not like they busted out the champagne and cigars.

Aren't? Aren't you a? Aren't you a Giants fan?

I just re-read, I think you mean the Cardinals fans are scumbags.
