Kids can certainly play Ticket To Ride. They can play with adults and do well too.
An all adult game can be more cutthroat, but usually people don't try to block each other too much, and just focus on their own routes.

I personally prefer Ticket to Ride: Europe when playing all adults as there is a touch more complexity (but not so much as to make it overwhelming). But, I've played the original game with adult groups many times, and it's a good, fun, light game.
I do recommend considering picking up the 1910 expansion if you're going to play it with adults frequently - I find the bigger cards work better when you've got adult-sized hands ;-)

Ok, I got my act together.
Anyone want to meet for games in the boardroom, Monday afternoon, Thanksgiving Monday (I'm having my turkey Sunday).
I could bring Eclipse, Quarriors, X-Wing or Pathfinder Card Game.

You could know what other players have in their hands (more or less) without asking.

How's Pathfinder? I've been tempted to pick it up, but since the crowd that I roll with is decidedly more eurogame than RPG, I'm not sure if it would be a popular one or not. We do play some deckbuilders, but I'm not sure if that alone makes the Pathfinder card game a good fit.

I only tried it solo so far. It seems to be in the nature of Munchkin card games, but deeper. It is getting lots of buzz in the industry and at conventions.

Alhambra, winner of the German, Spiel des Jahres 2003 award, now available on iOS!

Pandemic is arguably the game that popularised the idea of cooperative boardgames, and is popular enough to have been widely (ahem) imitated on the App Store. Now that an official adaptation has hit the iPad, will the App Store catch the fever?

Anyone try Glory to Rome? It's a fantastic game. It's pretty rare for some reason at least the black box version is...
But anyways, if you get a shot try it out. It's a pretty quick game with a lot of depth

Hive is free today on the Google Play and iOS app stores. Neat little game - deceptively strategic. Has me thinking I may need to pick up a physical version.
