Default NFL star Adrian Peterson's son Murdered!

My prayers go out to Adrian Peterson, my favorite NFL player. God bless him. How anyone can live the same after through their son being murdered, let alone playing football this season is beyond me. Stay strong!

"Joseph Robert Patterson was arrested on aggravated assault charges on Thursday and made his first court appearance Friday. He is being held on $750,000 bail, and in light of the boy's death, the Lincoln County State Attorney's office will review the case for additional charges, according to a statement from the Sioux Falls police department."

No parent should ever have to bury thier son or daughter.

May some inmate beat Robert Joseph Patterson to a pulp. How could could anyone beat up and kill a defenseless child.

I think this Joseph Patterson dude has a fate awaiting him that is much worse than death. People in Winnipeg have a habit of travelling 8 hours across the border to watch the Vikings play. South Dakota is Vikings territory. Imagine being in a prison with 1,000 convicts that are mainly Vikings fans, and know you are responsible for not only the death of a child, but the child of their favorite football player.

He's going to be spending 23 hours in Protective Custody foe the rest of his life.

Adrian Peterson has suffered his fair share of tragedy. He watched his twin brother get run over by a car as a young child. Dad was in prison for years. Now this.

FYI I don't believe it's the son in the picture. It's another one.

I read an article last night that says Patterson is mom's boyfriend.

Sounds like this guy had a previous charge on beating women, and, get this, a 3 year old.

There is some responsibility on the baby's mother for bothering with this piece of crap in the first place, let alone leaving her child in his care.

From the sounds of it, Peterson has rarely or never seen this particular child, so its not the one in the pic.

No, there isn't. That's called victim-blaming and it's completely ####ing classless at a time like this. Some of you really need to take some violence awareness classes as there's been some pretty disgusting comments surrounding this on this site, and from people I normally wouldn't expect it from.

Since Peterson wasn't involved in the boy's life, who else was responsible for his well being other than his mother?

You're right. When looking at his online dating profile, that "enjoys beating kids to death" portion should've been a huge red flag for her. Misogyny and ignorance running wild on CP again. Big ####ing surprise.

Instead of going off all half-cocked ranting about dating profiles and crying misogyny why don't you answer the question civilly?

Can you please remove the picture in the original post? Adrian Petersen let everyone know that the son in this picture wasn't the one that has passed. He also requested people to stop posting and sharing this picture. Out of respect to him and his family can you remove the picture OP?

Sorry Rube, but I will always wonder about people who get into relationships with the **** of the Earth like Patterson. She didn`t deserve this, she didn`t ask for it...but she knew him and at some point decided to have some type of relationship with him. It`s not her fault, but somehow she got mixed up with this scum and I can`t help but wonder why and how?

So how should she have known that he was the type of scum? Was he wearing his toddler-beating sweater when they first started dating? Every time a kid gets molested or abused by a relative or close family-friend should we be saying "Way to go, dad. What you, couldn't tell your brother liked buggering kids?" It's victim-blaming.

Because it's an uncivil question to begin with, and makes a whole lot of offensive assumptions.
