Dubnyk may have a penchant for the odd soft goal but his stats over the past two seasons point to him being far superior to Bryzgalov and the Flyers have a much better defense than the Oilers. I would welcome this deal as I would love to see him face the shooting gallery that Oilers goaltenders face.

I would be shocked if they didn't already kick the tires on him. It seems like Bryzgalov is probably being picky at this point, as is his right.

Maybe they'll bring Iriving over and give him a shot. I am sure they would love to one-up there.

It's laughable. If your team has goalie problems, Bryz is definitely not the guy you want.

He's Crawford's backup in Chicago.

Philly is paying Bryz a little over $1.6M per year for the next 14 years.

Khabibulin is playing backup in Chicago.

Philly will be paying Bryz $1.6M/year until 2027.

I came in here expecting a rumor......Instead I get a article suggesting that they go after him. On top of it people are acting like the oilers are on the verge of signing this guy...

This would be an epically stupid move. Dubnyk has had a rough couple of games. Bryzgalov is not a significant upgrade on Dubnyk.
